Minutes from the June 2013

Connecticut Robotics Society Meeting:


In attendance: 12


Mark W. - showed us the beginings of a  robotic snow thrower featuring a stepper  motor driven wheel - chain drive assembly.

Li - talked on where he lives in Chongqing, China.

Jake - leaving GHAMAS and is going to work at CIC (Connecticut Invention Convention). Andy said we maybe could start meeting at the Watkinson School - more details to come before the Sept meeting.

Chris and Jake - work on "Slicer" s/w -which generates models for 3d printing from CAT scans.

Mike - showed us his voice coil driven arm on a hard drive project. He also showed us parts that he made with his new Replicator 2 3d printer. Finally Mike  talked about his cube-sat opportunity.

Eric - showed the group his new AVR project with his neat LCD display (Nokia 5110 ).

Jake - giant giveaway.
