Minutes from the April 2012

Connecticut Robotics Society Meeting:

11 in attendance

The meeting started at 1pm

Jake passed out magazines.

John talked about his experiences at the Trinity Contest.

-- RoboWaiter has improved and gotten more interesting - more Vex and Leggo Nxt robots.

-- scoring system improved.

-- Malasia teams were interesting.

Jake talked about Grandar Robotics (xPartner). Needs someone to test out the new Stem 1.0 xPartner product - one of our students volunteered to try it out.

Another member talked about and showed us his no-CPU walking robot.

Jake talked about his CAD course in Solid-Works where the students made pulleys and gears. Jake gave a demo of the school's 3-D printer.

There will be a Big Give-Away next month as Jake met a guy who had a lot of stuff he wanted to get rid of.

Eric demoed his USBASP AVR Atmega programmer.
