Minutes from the March 2011

Connecticut Robotics Society Meeting:

 

The meeting started at 1pm

13 in attendance



Joe was up first and showed an inkjet drive mechanism. He talked about the encoder and how it tells the printer where the head is.

Next Duncan showed us his 3D plotter. He talked about the limit switches and ecoders. He is writing his code in Excel and controlling the robot through a USB-Serial chip and the Arduino Chip.

Jeff then gave away a scribler robot, a hand held project box, and a web scanner (bar code scanner).

Eric then held part 2 of the Microcontroller course.
